How Verified Views Work
How Clipshi checks views before they count toward earnings.
View types
- Tracked views: the public count read from the platform.
- Verified views: views confirmed via an official platform API or by Clipshi manual verification.
- Approved views: verified views accepted by Clipshi review. Only these earn.
- Rejected views: views excluded after review.
How views are verified
- YouTube Shorts: read through the official YouTube Data API and refreshed regularly.
- Instagram Reels: read through the official Instagram API when the Reel belongs to your connected account. Otherwise the Clipshi team verifies them manually.
- Clipshi never estimates or invents view counts.
Quality review
Every clip gets an automated risk check. Unusual activity is reviewed by the Clipshi team before approval. A risk flag is not an accusation. It means a person checks the clip.
